Tatting Needles

Tatting is an old technique dating back to the early 19th century for creating lace from a series of knots and loops. The delicate lace makes beautiful collars, decorative doilies and exquisite bracelets, necklaces and earrings.

Hairpin Lace

Hairpin lace is a beautiful variation on crochet, creating openwork designs of unique, eye catching appearance. Perfect for beautiful scarves and shawls.

Hairpin lace was originally made on large U-shaped hairpins. Pony has adopted this old, original shape and offers you Hairpin Crochet Staples in 4 different sizes 30, 45, 55 and 70 mm . The prongs measure 14 to 17cm.

Universal Netting Fork

The PONY Universal Netting Fork consists of two vertical prongs and two horizontal cross bars with holes across them. Working with a PONY crochet hook, place the vertical prongs into different holes in the cross bars to change the width between the verticals. There are 8 different positions to choose from; 20mm, 30mm, 40mm,50mm, 60mm, 70mm, 80mm and 00mm width. The fork legs themselves measure 30cm.

Point Protectors for DPN's

An excellent way to securely store and protect your double-pointed knitting needles. These clever Point Protectors come in a softly rounded bell shape and prevent stitches from slipping off the needles. Held together by elastic, these point protectors sit on each end of your needles, with the tension from the elastic cord pulling them together and keeping them firmly in place. They can be used for both 15 cm and 20 cm needles as the elastic band adjusts accordingly. A brilliant way to protect your needles when you're knitting on the go, or to store your needles when not in use.

Stitch holders are an essential accessory in any knitters’ basket and these circular ones from PONY are something exceptional. Row Counter

A row counter can be very useful, especially when working patterns or shapes where several rows need to be repeated over and over. It helps you keep track of the number of rows knitted and easily slides onto the needle. There are four different sizes to suit different knitting needle sizes.

Yarn Bobbins

Complicated intarsia designs can be a little easier when you use yarn bobbins. These enable you to work with several small quantities of yarn to prevent entanglement. They are also an ideal way to tidy up the wool basket and they come in bright colours in two sizes and in rectangular or fish shapes.

Knitting Gauge

Most needles come with the size marked on the shank or needle head but the knitting gauge is useful for checking the size of unidentified needles, including double-pointed needles and crochet hooks. The metric and US measurements along the edge of the gauge are also helpful for taking measurements on tension squares. As an additional bonus, there is also a handy integrated sharp blade which cuts yarn easily.

Cable Stitch Needle

Cable stitch needles from PONY help to keep cable stitches under control. They hold your stitches securely when knitting cable patterns and can be placed in front or behind the knitting. We recommend using a cable needle in the same size or slightly smaller than your working needle size. Choose from bent or straight needles.
