Short PONY circular needle

We recommend our shortest circular needles for projects with tiny diameters in the round, such as children's socks, mittens, and baby clothes.

The lightweight aluminum tips, which are 4.5 and 7.0 cm long, ensure that knitting the smallest circumference is a breeze, allowing you to complete your projects quickly and efficiently.

The total length of the circular needles from tip-to-tip measures 28 cm, and they are available in sizes 2.50mm to 4.50mm.

PONY KNOOKING NEEDLES

Knooking is an exceptional DIY technique: an innovative method of creating a knitted look using a crochet hook. With a bit of practice you’ll find knooking an easy technique using the orginal, coloured Knooking needles from PONY.

The Knooking needle looks similar to a crochet hook but with an eye at one end to thread a smooth cord which is then used in place of a needle to hold the stitches. The attached cord used in knooking enables you to create knitted fabric without the worry of dropping stitches. The knooking technique is perfect for travelling as only one needle is required.

For small projects

The small 2 and 3 mm knooking needles from PONY are perfect for making socks, bracelets and other small projects. They are short, versatile and ideal for working in the round. KNOOKING is a great alternative to knitting in the round with a set of double-pointed knitting needles.

Medium sizes

Knooking needles in medium sizes 4 and 6 mm are designed for use with standard yarn gauges.

For thicker yarns

New additions to the range include knooking needles made from coloured plastic in sizes 8 and 10 mm which are perfect for thicker yarns. They have a firm, smooth surface that enables stitches to glide effortlessly. They are great fun for children to develop their first creative projects.

GLYDON Joint

The superior snag-free patented GLYDON joint along with the precision engineered screw mechanism provides a smooth transition onto the gently tapered needles.

Flex Needles

Flex needles are a cross between straight needles and circular needles, consisting of knitting needles with a flexible cord and stopper so that you can rest your work in your lap. The SLICK set enables you to make your own Flex needles using the beautiful brass knobs. Simply screw the knob onto the end of the cable and the needle turns into a flex needle in an instant.

The needle size is engraved discretely on the needle shank, like exquisite jewellery, and the polished finish assures that the stitches glide smoothly on both needle and cable.

Stitch Holder

The PONY SLICK set also includes a stitch holder. Simply transfer all stitches to the cable and unscrew needle ends (one at a time) and replace with the knobs. The stitches rest comfortably and securely on the cable while you can use the needles for your next project.
